Ich konnte noch ein paar Textfetzen raushören, aber die alte Videoaufnahme die ich noch habe, hat eine sehr schlechte Tonqualität. (Ist ja auch schon über 20 Jahre alt.)

Ich meinte etwas zu hören von

"We have to learn to help each other" , "...song of freedom and peace"...
und im Refrain "sing with you, dancing with me, song of love....(?)...wave your hands, let your heart free, sing of love....(?)


Der Anfang des Liedes hat übrigens diesen typischen Hawaiigitarren-klang.

Ich hab nun mal die Melodie der Strophen noch dazugestellt, vielleicht hilft das ja jemandem weiter.

Hallo zusammen,
ich suche ein englisches Lied, gesungen von einem Mann. Er singt irgendwas mit "...dancing with me" oder so. Der Pop-Song muß vor 1987 veröffentlicht worden sein. Ich habe versucht meine wenigen Notenkenntnisse einzusetzen, das Tempo müßte ein wenig schneller sein, aber sonst kommt es sehr gut hin. Es handelt sich hierbei übrigens um den Refrain. Die jeweiligen Strophen sind etwas langsamer.

Add a bit of sheet music, along with a MIDI file, simply by entering note names in Lilypond syntax between the [L] and [/L] tags.
For example, you can try what happens if you enter: [l]g'4 g'4 d''4 d''4 e''4 e''4 d''2[/l] (use the Preview function if you don't actually want to post this).
