You might try "O Fortuna" by Carl Orff for chorus and orchestra. It's been used a lot for commercials, and for the Olympics, it's on a CD from the Atlanta games in '96.

I believe this is a classical piece, it sounds like one. I think it has been used in movie trailers, I don't recall which ones exactly. But I think it was also used for a NASCAR on FOX commercial. The melody I'm presenting wasn't played in the commercial, but I think its part of the same song. If it isn't, then forget about the commercial.

The melody above may not be accurate as to which notes are used and whether there are any that are flat or sharp. But the described melody above is sung out by a choir. Listening to it, its almost like a big battle is about to start or something catastrophic is about to happen. If you're still clueless, a similar melody is played in episode 109 of Sailor Moon, in the uncut japanese version at least. Its right around when the monster says her name after the 'evil' professor creates her, I'd say around 1/4 of the way into the episode.
