Great! My Bach problem is solved now.

With your help, I could even find the CD of the magnificat map on my computer.

It is not by J. S. Bach but by one of his sons, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach.

May be stupid but I dont know the name of a wellknown Bach work.
Need your help.

I have a map on my computer named: Bach - Magnificat.

This is the content:

01 Magnificat (chorus)
02 Et exultavit (soprano solo)
03 Quin respexit (soprano solo)-
04 Quia fecit mihi magna (bass solo)
05 Et misericordia (contralto_teno d
06 Fecit potentiam (chorus)
07 Deposuit potentes (tenor aria)

11 Gloria (chorus)
12 Magnificat (chorus)

18 Suscepit Israel (contralto solo)

Nrs. 1 -11 is clear. That is the magnificat in D

But what is starting from nr 12 to 20?

Nr. 19 (Gloria) sounds almost exactly like nr. 12.
Did Bach write another Magnificat?

Add a bit of sheet music, along with a MIDI file, simply by entering note names in Lilypond syntax between the [L] and [/L] tags.
For example, you can try what happens if you enter: [l]g'4 g'4 d''4 d''4 e''4 e''4 d''2[/l] (use the Preview function if you don't actually want to post this).
You can create these lists of note names by clicking on piano keys here.
